The Wolves destroyed the Warriors after extra time

There was no streak of four for the Warriors, who confirmed their outdoor difficulty by losing 119-114 after overtime on the floor of the Wolves. However, Stephen Curry’s teammates had the game in hand when they led by 14 points at the beginning of the 4th quarter (96-82). Until then, they’ve only lost eight possessions, and then they’ll go back to their ways, and D’Angelo Russell in particular will take the fight to himself.

The former All-Star point guard scored 14 points in three minutes, and the Wolves came back to a small point (102-101). Carried by their audience, Russell’s teammates went wild and Naz Reid gave his team the lead less than two minutes from the end with a 3-pointer (110-108). Stephen Curry answered him slowly, and there was nothing to mark after! Match points follow each other, and Curry, alone, misses the half. Back in the game, Russell also misses 9 yards in the last second. Extension!

Andrew Wiggins opened the contest with a dunk, but Anthony Edwards took off in the extra five minutes, while Russell joined the bench with six fouls. Aggressive, he punctuated 7-0, and Reid, heroic, made an offensive rebound after his own missed shot, to sign the liberating dunk. Wolves win 119-114 in crazy atmosphere!

WHAT YOU SHOULD REMEMBER

– Lack of control. Through three quarters, the Warriors mastered the tempo and the ball, with only eight turnovers in three quarters. They will lose by 9 in the fourth quarter and overtime! We will remember these two balls that Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney lost with a minute from the end.

– Free throws. If the Wolves lose, they have only themselves to blame because they missed 11 free throws at 54%. The craziest thing is that Minnesota can’t draw anything in the 4th quarter and overtime! A bad thing for good in the end…

– Turn your back. The Warriors play in Denver tonight, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Steve Kerr rests some executives again. This is to say if this contraction is heavy on the head.

TOPS/FLOPS

Naz Reid. Rudy Gobert was embarrassed by his groin, his back-up proved more than double! He finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds. He brings danger from distance, and his 3-pointer in the corner, in the 4th quarter, then his furious dunk in overtime is decisive.

D’Angelo Russell. He held his own for Curry with his 7 of 17 from 3-pointers, and his heat stroke midway through the 4th quarter gave hope and largely tipped the match. Called out for six fouls at the start of overtime, he fought until the end.

Anthony Edwards. Erased in the 4th quarter, he woke up in overtime with fair options and aggressiveness. His percussion is impressive.

✅ ⛔Stephen Curry. His first half was remarkable with 21 points on 5 of 7 from 3-pointers. His finishing in the match was beyond questionable, especially this missed winning shot when he had the basket, and even the racket, wide open.

Clay Thompson. There are always many irregularities in “Splash Brother”. 3 of 13 on shots in 40 minutes is clearly not enough.
