NBA All-Star Game, who will take over the East? Editorial review!
On Thursday night through Friday, the All-Star Game holders for each conference were announced. In the east? Kyrie Irving, Donovan Mitchell, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum are the lucky ones. All that’s left is to determine who the replacements are, and in this little game the TrashTalk editorial staff wants to share their favorites with you.
Nicholas
- Guards: Jaylen Brown, James Harden
- Forward: Joel Embiid, Bam Adebayo, Julius Randle
- Wild cards: Tyrese Haliburton, Jalen Brunson
There are many applicants but only 7 spots so methodically. My locks as replacements? Of course Joel Embiid, as well as Jaylen Brown. Then, it’s hard to leave out Bam Adebayo because of the XXL season he’s doing with the Heat, as well as Tyrese Haliburton who before his injury sublimated an Indiana team that we didn’t expect to be that high. For the last three places, I want to reward James Harden who is doing a good job in the shadow of Embiid, as well as the Knicks duo Julius Randle – Jalen Brunson who is a hit in Gotham City.

- Guards: James Harden and Jaylen Brown
- Forward: Joel Embiid, Pascal Siakam, Bam Adebayo
- Wild cards: Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson
Not really a debate in my head, if only to choose between two Knicks players and finally go Jalen Brunson just to have a new head. Small mention to a Paolo Banchero finally not far away, in a Brook Lopez which almost deserves a look at his amazing rebuild, or even Trae Young or deMar DeRozan, too strong but I was blocked by an insufficient number of successes (Pascal Siakam inherited the All-Star spot losing too many games).

- Guards : Jaylen Brown, James Harden
- Forward : Joel Embiid, Pascal Siakam, Bam Adebayo
- wild card : Julius Randle, Jrue Holiday
If we take this list, we really have the obvious can’t miss this matchup (Brown, Embiid and Harden) and then behind you there are four wide open spots even though I can’t imagine New York is without an All-Star. I chose Randle, if some prefer Brunson that doesn’t surprise me. Bam Adebayo is having a great season with the Heat and Miami’s standings give him legitimacy. In the player section that is too strong but has a rotten ranking I took Pascal Siakam over DeMar DeRozan but DMDR has a real record to go there too. Finally, for my last spot I want to reward a man from the shadows of Jrue Holiday, always underrated but very important to Milwaukee. If not him, I hope the coaches take Tyrese Haliburton over Trae Young.

- Guards: Jaylen Brown, James Harden
- Forwards: Joel Embiid, Pascal Siakam, Julius Randle
- Wild cards: Nic Claxton and Jrue Holiday
All of the choices on this list were made with the purest of intentions, even for Nic Claxton. Well, actually not too much but the boy is having a nice season with the Nets, then it’s the principle of a wildcard huh. As for the rest of the list, there is no doubt that these names are the most deserving of the All-Star Game. For me, Julius Randle is more deserving than Bam Adebayo for the simple reason that the Knicks are clearly in better shape than the Heat. There is no question of putting Trae Young, the Hawks bazaar should not spoil the party.
Louis-Emmanuel
- Guards: Jaylen Brown, James Harden
- Forwards: Joel Embiid, Julius Randle, Bam Adebayo
- Wild cards: Pascal Siakam, Trae Young
How difficult it is to choose names, because the competition is tough. If Jaylen Brown is undoubtedly the third guard in the Eastern Conference, Joel Embiid is without discussion the third forward, good luck behind determining who should follow the two zozos. I think James Harden should be in the game. If the bearded man isn’t the scorer he was a few years ago, he’s managed to reinvent himself and remain very important to Philly. Julius Randle earned his place among the forwards, and Pascal Siakam took advantage of the balance level. Bam Adebayo has been the most consistent player on the Heat along with Tyler Herro and deserves a small reward. Finally, Trae Young is the last player to win his spot, as he remains the boss of the Hawks, who seem to be getting better. Big thoughts for Tyrese Haliburton, who would have been my pick had he not been injured. We also don’t forget Jalen Brunson, DeMar DeRozan, Darius Garland or Kyle Kuzma, who have their say in the debate.

- Guards: Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Haliburton
- Forward: Joel Embiid, Bam Adebayo, Julius Randle
- Wild cards: Pascal Siakam, Trae Young
Julius Randle and Pascal Siakam competed for the final forward spot, and it was a bonus to the better collective season of Tom Thibodeau’s staff. Now Spicy-P is performing arguably his best individual workout, impossible to dismiss. Despite Atlanta’s dramas at the start of the season, the Raptors have been in a good recent dynamic, which is a well-deserved reward for Trae Young. Inevitably, it’s frustrating. Darius Garland, Kyle Kuzma, DeMar DeRozan, Jalen Brunson, Kristaps Porzingis and most of all James Harden could have been. But what guys, the places are not unlimited, and the design is merciless.

- Wildcards: Trae Young, Bam Adebayo
It was impossible not to send two of these Celtics residents who missed the league, so Jaylen Brown joined Jayson Tatum. Say what you want about James Harden, but he’s adapted to a new role in Philadelphia and the collective results follow, so send the feather to the stars with his franchise-player Joel Embiid UFO in the replacements , nothing to do with a rapper from Marseille yet. Embiid will not be the only Cameroonian in this lineup as Pascal Siakam will also bring his skills despite a disappointing collective season for the Dinos. As a found Julius Randle completes the selection of forwards and lands the back wheel on his pro shifter on the ground. Trae Young will send his bombs about 2 kilometers behind the line and Bam Adebayo, who takes on a new dimension in the attack, is the only representative of the Heat. Sorry Jimmy Bucket, but you’ll have plenty of time to take out your nerves on the other teams. The heart wants me to speak with my hands and send Paolo Banchero, but the American-Italian has plenty of time to invite.
