here are the best offers for winter sales (Xiaomi Redmi Note 11s, Poco M4 Pro, Oppo Reno7, Samsung Galaxy A33 and Google Pixel 4a)

The sales are an opportunity to take advantage of very good prices and especially on smartphones between 200 and 300 € including the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11s, the Poco M4 Pro, the Oppo Reno7, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and the Google Pixel 4a 5G. But which of these is really for you? Here are some cross comparison elements that will help you make your choice.

Design is pretty much everyone’s business, but among our pick of the day, some stand out more than others. Google’s Pixel 4a 5G represents the simplest possible with very clean lines, without any frills. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11s offers very flat profiles, just like its back. This is also the case with Oppo’s Reno7, available in black or with a very successful imitation leather back that feels good in the hand. The Poco M4 Pro has a large black band on the back that includes the image sensors, in the upper left corner.
The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G also offers a particularly sleek side with a block of sensors that matches the tone of the rest of the device. Of them all, the Oppo Reno7 is the largest while the Pixel 4a 5G is the thickest. On the contrary, the latter is the most compact and therefore the one that takes up the least space in a bag or in your hand.
This may be partly due to its battery capacity, which is 3800 mAh and therefore smaller than the others, while the Oppo Reno7 offers a capacity of 4500 mAh and needs 5000 mAh for the other three. None offer wireless charging. Redmi Note 11s, Poco M4 Pro 4G and Reno7 support charging at 33 watts compared to 25 watts on Samsung and only 18 watts for Google mobile which charges the slowest.

What is the best screen and what connectivity?

Redmi Note 11s, Poco M4 Pro 4G and Reno7 share the same screen. It is a 6.43-inch diagonal AMOLED panel with a definition of 1080×2400 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz. This allows them to offer some fluidity when scrolling through long website pages or social media walls. Only the Oppo Reno7 supports the HDR10+ format which is available on some video streaming platforms. The screen of the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is also interesting, offering the same characteristics, but for a slightly smaller diagonal, due to 6.4 inches.

The Pixel 4a 5G screen is 6.24 inches, still with an AMOLED panel, but with a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz, so it’s less fluid than the others. Only the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Google’s Pixel 4a 5G are compatible with 5G networks. Others are limited to 4G networks. All offer Wi-Fi 5 and compatibility with NFC contactless technology. Redmi Note 11s, Poco M4 Pro, Reno7 have an audio jack port for connecting headphones, which the other two do not.

Only the Galaxy A33 5G is certified water and dust resistant. All have a fingerprint reader. It is installed under the screen of the Reno7 and Galaxy A33 5G, in the profile of the Redmi Note 11s and Poco M4 Pro while it is positioned behind the Pixel 4a 5G. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11s and Poco M4 Pro have infrared emitters to turn them into universal remote controls.

Which is the most powerful and what configurations for photos?

If you’re looking for the best performing mobile in our comparison, check out the Galaxy A33 5G with its Samsung Exynos 1280 processor dominating the Pixel 4a 5G’s Snapdragon 765G, both of which are paired with 6 GB of RAM. Then there’s Oppo’s Reno7 with its Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8 GB of RAM, then the Redmi Note 11s and Poco M4 Pro that share a MediaTek Helio G96 chip with 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, depending on the choice configuration. These are not performance watches, but they may be sufficient for everyday use. Only Google mobile does not support adding a memory card.

Finally, for the photo part, the Samsung Galaxy A33 offers a configuration of 48 + 8 + 5 + 2 megapixels on the back against 108 + 8 + 2 + 2 megapixels on the back of the Redmi Note 11s. The Poco M4 Pro and the Reno7 have the same optical unit because the first one has 64 + 8 + 2 megapixels against 64 + 2 + 2 megapixels with particularity, for the second one offers a sensor that plays the role of microscope with the ability to magnify at 15x and 30x. The Google Pixel 6a 5G is content with two 16 and 12 megapixel sensors, but that’s enough, aided by image processing software, to produce the best photos in this comparison.
