With its Galaxy A53 5G, Samsung brings a successor to one of its best quality/price ratios in 2021. The smartphone, without compromise, improves the performance of its elder in terms of image capture.

It’s not easy to succeed with the Galaxy A52 and A52s. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G shows new priorities. It takes from them a certain wisdom in terms of ergonomics and display. The smartphone actually has a successful Amoled screen, which therefore allows you to enjoy multimedia content pleasantly. It also has the merit of presenting a more pleasing side of the picture than its elders, making it a more versatile model. The balance is on the other hand mixed regarding power and autonomy, correct, but less than last year. Apart from these caveats, Samsung has the merit of extending its promise of software updates to 4 years on this Galaxy A53 5G, no longer reserving this favor for its Galaxy S22s: the durability this, which we follow closely, has not increased.

Google’s Pixel 6a is no demerit compared to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. This smartphone, which is the “affordable” version, convinces with undeniable advantages: good screen quality, more than satisfactory performance and a very controlled part of the picture. It also has the merit of being IP67 certified, borrowing this characteristic from high-end terminals. What’s missing is slightly faster charging, higher screen brightness and more refresh rate. But at the price of its launch, few – or even no smartphones – have been able to do as well so far, with the important guarantee of ensuring long-term monitoring of the software.
