The return of Paris was well digested by the Bulls, who chained a third straight victory over the Hawks. For Atlanta, on the other hand, it was their second straight loss. There was no pass of three for the Hornets, victims of their awkwardness in 3-pts, against the Jazz. Thus Utah recorded its third victory in four games.
Finally, after losing three straight and eight of their last ten games, Portland smiled again with a win over San Antonio. The Texans have won just two of their last twelve games…
No winner at the buzzer this time, unlike the first two matches between these two teams. The Bulls controlled most of the game, especially Zach LaVine’s lead in the first half. The Hawks lost 18 balls and Trae Young was harmless early in the game.
At the end of the game, Atlanta point guard found John Collins and the Hawks trailed by just three points. Zach LaVine hit a 3-pointer and made two free throws, DeMar DeRozan (26 points for his 1,000th career game) added the game-winning shot and the Bulls took a breather. They even fired when Patrick Williams scored a 3-pts two minutes from time to seal this victory. The third in a row for Chicago.

Utah-Charlotte: 120-102
How can you now exist in a meeting with only two 3-point baskets on the counter? This is the equation Charlotte had to solve in Utah. The Hornets, still without LaMelo Ball, are as clumsy as ever, going a terrible 2/16 from behind the arc… However, they will stay in the game.
Terry Rozier finally found the target early in the second period (he was the only 3-pointer) and Steve Clifford’s players entered the final quarter trailing by just ten points. Lauri Markkanen (25 points) and his band went on an 18-4 run in six minutes to put them aside for good.

Portland–San Antonio: 147-127
After struggling for a few days, the Blazers are improving their attack. Because Portland’s defense stayed in the locker room (like their opponent). Because of this, the Spurs had a chance until the third quarter, when Portland went on a 13-0 run to make the difference.
Damian Lillard (37 points and 12 assists) scored baskets, Shaedon Sharpe joined him and the Blazers cruised to a quiet final quarter. They moved up to 24 points with this victory which was their first after three losses.
