A straight-to-the-point AMD setup
To equip its Vivobook 14X, Asus decided to opt for efficiency with an AMD configuration as good as it is. In the middle of the system, we find the Ryzen 5 5600H, a proven processor, perfect for a PC dedicated to office automation or watching videos, online or not. 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD complete the technical sheet.
To ensure optimal performance, including the most relentless work sessions, Asus equipped this PC with an IceCool cooling system. The latter combines heat pipes specially designed for the occasion with the IceBlade house fan to better manage system temperature and heat loss. An excellent system, which also has the luxury of being quiet with a noise footprint of less than 38 dBA in standard mode.
On the display side, the manufacturer chose a 14-inch LCD panel in 16:10 format. The latter offers a larger work surface than the classic 16:9, and is more pleasing to the eye in the long run. Asus has worked particularly hard on this topic and offers a flicker-free panel, which emits only a small amount of blue light. Last advantage of this slab, its hinge has the ability to open 180° to provide a flat work surface, and facilitate the presentation of your work to third parties.

The ErgoSense keyboard and the keys that are slightly hollowed out to fit the shape of the fingers (which is unusual for a laptop PC) are very comfortable to use. Spacing between keys is equivalent to a standard desktop keyboard, while the 1.4mm stroke provides good feedback when typing.
The touchpad, for its part, is equipped with NumPad 2.0 technology that allows the whole thing to be transformed into a complete and functional numeric keypad in an instant.
To meet the needs of the modern worker, especially for remote or on-the-go work, the Vivobook 14X is equipped with a 720p webcam. It also benefits from 3DNR technology that improves image quality, especially by reducing noise. MyAsus also offers many options such as background blurring, face tracking or lighting optimization. We will also appreciate the Asus AI Noise-Cancelling that reduces parasitic noise during calls.
To complete the panoply of the perfect computer, Asus has also packed the package on the connectivity side. Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 6 are therefore the order of the day, while this machine accepts all the necessary ports, namely:
