For Miami, the night was more difficult with only seven players (eight at the start, but Dewayne Dedmon was quickly dismissed) to fight the Thunder. Jimmy Butler and his friends just finished and set an NBA record with a perfect 40/40 in free throws.

OG Anunoby responded with two straight award-winning baskets, Fred VanVleet followed with another 3-point shot and Toronto pulled away to win its second straight game. The Thunder led the final quarter, 6-0 to start. The Heat responded, mainly by piling up points down the line, and ended the game with a 6-0 run. Jimmy Butler scored the last free throw, the win and the record. No third straight win for Oklahoma City.
