Q: Tell us about the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 What makes them the perfect productivity devices?
PE: When we designed the latest foldable products, we wanted to make sure they offered maximum value on multiple fronts, both personal and professional. The main feature of the Galaxy Z Fold4 is its foldable screen that stands on its own, allowing users to video conference hands-free or take notes with the S Pen (optional)[1]. When opened, users get an extended 7.6-inch screen, allowing them to view a spreadsheet, contract, or creative mockup in greater detail. Finally, the multi active window feature with taskbar allows users to quickly launch up to three applications, side by side, and drag and drop content from one window to another, making it more work easily from a mobile device.
With the Galaxy Z Flip4, we really lean into the idea that work doesn’t stop when you’re away from the desk. The informative cover screen offers compact connectivity, allowing professionals to answer or make calls, view notifications and respond to texts even when the phone is folded. Workers can also use Flex Mode on their Galaxy Flip4 to fold the phone, lay it down, and make hands-free conference calls from almost anywhere.[2].
Q: How does the latest Galaxy Folds help employees complete tasks and work with apps traditionally accessed on a laptop?
PE: The latest Galaxy foldables are optimized to support Microsoft Office, making it easy to create and edit documents on the go without having to turn on a laptop. Our optimized Office experience means the most popular Office apps, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, can be used just like on a laptop. This means that everyone has access to important files, wherever they are. We know that work is no longer confined to a desk, so Microsoft integration ensures always-on access to OneDrive and Teams, whether you’re in the office, at home, or between appointments.
For professionals who find themselves in a situation where a laptop is necessary, we have found a solution for it. Samsung DeX on the Galaxy Z Fold4 lets them wirelessly connect their device to a monitor or TV, pair a keyboard and mouse, and work in an intuitive PC-like environment. Whether finalizing a sales contract or presenting a pitch to clients, Galaxy Z Fold4 and DeX offer professionals the comfort and familiarity of an office-like experience.
Q: What would you say to employers who are uncomfortable with multitasking from a smartphone?
PE: Both the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 have built-in defense-grade security that helps protect work and personal data stored on the device from the chip. This feature is called Knox Security and, together with Knox Vault, which protects passwords and biometric data, it helps ensure the security of sensitive data.
