Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 and Samsung Galaxy A13 are, at first glance, quite similar. First of all with their plastic shells and their large screens, although Samsung has a 6.6-inch screen that covers 83.5% of its facade while its Chinese rival has a smaller screen, 6. 43 inches, but occupies 84.5% of the device.

The compactness of the latter allows it to weigh only 179 g, while the South Korean phone reaches 195 g. We therefore award the first point of this rivalry to the Redmi Note 11. We can still recognize a superior durability in the Galaxy A13, with a better repairability index with a brand that shows more CSR commitments .

The Samsung Galaxy A13

Still about the screens, both offer Full HD + definition. But the differences are in the chosen technology and the resulting performance. If on the side of the South Korean manufacturer, we chose an LCD panel, Xiaomi equipped its device with an Amoled panel. Because of this difference, the Chinese manufacturer takes advantage of Samsung because the Redmi Note 11 has both better brightness (725 cd / m²), better contrast and better color temperature. Again, the point goes to Xiaomi.

Performance differences

The two phones also differ in terms of the chips chosen by the manufacturers. In Xiaomi, we saw the Snapdragon 680 from Qualcomm, while Samsung turned to in-house technology, the Exynos 850 chip. A noticeable difference can be seen in the performance, as the South Korean phone clearly lacks vigor against its opponent. , even if it remains pleasant in daily use. It’s really while playing that the difference is felt: where the Redmi Note 11 shows an average of 46 frames per second, the Galaxy A13 struggles to hold an average of 25 fps. Xiaomi won a new round.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11

Finally, if we tend to expect a lot from Samsung’s Galaxy A ranges in this area, the autonomy is also in favor of the Redmi Note 11. The devices are both very durable, but the Xiaomi wins in the autonomy measured in 9:44 p.m

If the Samsung Galaxy A13 presented strong arguments, such as its durability or its autonomy, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 gets points where it counts. From the panel to the performance, the Chinese manufacturer defies superb efficiency and confirms its benchmark status among entry-level phones.
