Killian Hayes has found his rhythm

We’re going back to basics this season! Every Sunday, you’ll find here everything you need to know about French in the NBA, so you don’t miss anything from Killian Hayes’ triple-singles or Rudy Gobert’s new life with his pack of Wolves. This Sunday ? Moussa Diabaté is blowing up the G League, Rudy Gobert is winning again, Nico Batum has spasms, Evan Fournier has bedsores, and Killian Hayes is finally finding a good rhythm.

# RUDY GOBERT

Three straight wins and a protocol exit, that’s for good news. Anthony Edwards passing him the ball four times in a month and a half, that’s what it takes to work. For the rest, Rudy is Rudy, and Rudy is still the best rebounder in the League.

  • Wolves @ Cavs: 15 points on 5/10 shooting and 5/8 throwing, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks
  • Wolves @ Magic: 16 points on 5/7 shooting and 6/8 throws, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 fight
  • Wolves @ Sixers: 8 points on 4/7 shooting, 13 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal

# EVAN FOURNIER

The very hot file in the French camp. First in trouble with the starting five then dropped to the bench in favor of Quentin Grimes then Cam Reddish, Evan Fournier has had to stay off the floor since zero points on Sunday against the Thunder. We don’t have Bac + 5 in career management but it smells like burning.

  • Knicks vs Thunder: 0 points to 0/5 shooting including 0/3 from the parking lot, 2 assists and 1 steal in 20 minutes
  • Knicks @ Jazz: DNP
  • Knicks @ Nuggets: DNP
  • Knicks @ Warriors: DNP

# NICOLAS BATUM

Nico continues to play the perfect piston on this Clippers team, and sometimes… he goes crazy, like in that game against the Mavs when he hit an incredible 7/7 from the parking lot. If you watched the two matches of the French team and said to yourself that Nico is probably at the end… let’s just say that the answer will not be long. Come on Nico, wrap us in gold.

#KILLIAN HAYES

Another good week for Kiki, and God (JR Smith) knows it’s not easy right now in Detroit. Cade Cunningham is fragile, Dwane Casey does not have his BE2, defeats follow one another but the young French leader does not disassemble after his very difficult start to the season (race). Little by little, Kiki grows. sorry

# OUSMANE DIENG

Still no minutes in the A’s but big 15-shot games were attempted in the G League. Hopefully he’ll keep going, but look forward to February in OKC, when the Thunder finally start losing all their games.

#THEO MALEDON

He’s come a long way, friend Theo, and he’s far from the disaster at the beginning of the season. As long as it doesn’t start on the Greensboro side, all is well, and unfortunately for the Hornets, LaMelo Ball’s new injury keeps our national Tété in the loop.

# MOUSSA DIABETES

He’s been explosive against the cones in the G League, but we’d rather see him replace that infamous Moses Brown beam on Tyronn Lue’s roster.

  • Clippers @ Mavericks: DNP
  • Clippers vs. Pistons: DNP
  • Clippers vs Spurs: DNP

# OLIVIER SARR

Baaaaaad news, because poor Olivier Sarr was cut by the Blazers. Injured for three weeks, Portland fired the ambulance, business is business as Elon would say.
