Black Friday smartphone: Apple iPhone, Samsung, Xiaomi, these promotions should be seized immediately

Black Friday is back to the delight of shoppers hungry for deals. It’s the perfect occasion to have fun or prepare your tech and geek Christmas gifts as participating brands play. But beware, not all offers are equal. We’ve rounded up the hottest promos of the day.

Black Friday smartphone: the cream of the promo

Good cuts are applied to this year’s referrals as well as last year’s referrals. Search our selection for the best Black Friday offers.

On Samsung:

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3,256 GB at €999 instead of €1,799 at Darty

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is an impressive showcase of technology and innovation. For that price, you get almost all the high-end features you’d expect from an Android flagship. At the same time for 1799 €, there is interest. Some compromises the phone makes, like having “second-rate” cameras, aren’t a deal breaker.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 128 GB at €699 instead of €1059 at Darty

Samsung has put a lot of thought into its Galaxy Z Flip 3. The body, the hinge and the screen are made of materials that make the smartphone more solid without forgetting that it is no longer waterproof. A larger secondary screen, a quality primary screen and an improved software component put the Z Flip 3 on par with most other $1,000 phones. This does not mean that the device is not free from any defects. Battery life is poor, the crease on the inner screen is still there, the smartphone is not dust resistant and its long-term durability is unknown.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G 128 GB at €305 instead of €459 on Amazon

The Galaxy A53 5G is a classic Samsung smartphone that convinced us, however. It is designed with rigor and delivers the mark without any real false notes. Performance is admittedly a little weak, but the 120Hz display more or less makes up for it. We can also salute the autonomy and versatility of the photo module.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G at €349 instead of €659 at Cdiscount

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE retains many of the elements that made the S20 range popular. This version benefits from a high-end technical configuration, a 120 Hz Super Amoled screen, and a 4500 mAh battery. All in all a very nice model.

On Apple:

Apple iPhone 12 64 GB at €649 instead of €809 at Cdiscount

A new design, an OLED screen, a more powerful chip, a smooth part of the picture, 5G, the iPhone 12 is on strike. Too bad the storage space of the basic version is only 64 GB.

Apple iPhone 14 128 GB at €969 instead of €1019 at Cdiscount

Apple’s latest iPhone is reassuringly familiar.

On Google:

Google Pixel 6 at €429 instead of €649 at Darty

Undeniable finishes, impressive cameras, good performance/autonomy mix and above all a good quality/price ratio, Google’s innovations to make it a useful and pleasant everyday smartphone has undeniably paid off, helped by the new Tensor processor that has opened up the artificial intelligence game. We wholeheartedly recommend the Pixel 6 to anyone looking for a fun and practical Android smartphone with unparalleled photo capabilities.

Google Pixel 6a at €349 instead of €459 on Amazon

Generation after generation, Google has been refining its recipe for bringing down its high-end smartphones. The inevitable compromises made to make the Pixel 6a more affordable than its bigger siblings really aren’t a deal breaker. The finish level is excellent, as is the performance. The main technical advantages and features that boost the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, we think in this particular picture, the autonomy and the first of the Android updates, are there. The best choice at this price.

On Oppo:

Oppo Reno 7 8 + 128 GB at €249 instead of €329.90 on Amazon

The Oppo Reno 7 is a 4G smartphone that comes to settle at the entry level with an amazing picture component.

Oppo A76 at €199 instead of €249.90 on Amazon

Oppo A76 4G

The Oppo A76 features a 90Hz display powered by a 5000mAh battery compatible with SUPERVOOCTM 33W fast charging technology.

On OnePlus:

OnePlus 10 Pro 12 + 256 GB at €799 instead of €999 on Amazon

The OnePlus 10 Pro is a very good phone. But we expect more for an edition that can be considered as an anniversary. This is the 10th historical model of OnePlus! We have heavy expectations. But in reality, last year’s additions were only temporary. If it repeats the excellent foundation of the OnePlus 9 Pro, it is not IP68 certified and therefore not officially considered dust and splash resistant (even if the manufacturer says the opposite). And at this price, it’s hard to swallow. However, the OnePlus 10 Pro is a high-performance phone, capable of being very versatile in photos. Even if some choices are debatable (the fisheye ultra wide-angle in particular), they have the merit of being bold and eye-catching, in an industry where all smartphones tend to look alike.

OnePlus 10T 8 + 128 GB at €609 instead of €729 on Amazon

OnePlus rushed to release a product that offers few advantages over its excellent 10 Pro. Instead of launching this half-hearted phone, we’d rather see the company keep these new features, refine them and integrate them into a full flagship for early 2023.

OnePlus Nord 2T 8 + 128 GB at €319 instead of €429 on Amazon

Although the changes are slight, they are successful. With its new SoC, its more convincing night picture part and its super fast charging, OnePlus has successfully refreshed its model from last year. For others, the Chinese manufacturer has not damaged its recipe and better, the design is still as premium, the OS is still pleasant to use and the autonomy is more than enough. If you are looking for a smartphone under the 500 euro mark, this Nord 2T 5G should satisfy you with its consistency. If you already own last year’s model, we don’t think the difference is enough to warrant a model change.

On Xiaomi:

Xiaomi Redmi 9C 32 GB at €99 instead of €138 on Amazon

Xiaomi Redmi 9C

Xiaomi Redmi 9C offers a flawless Google OS experience. Behind its beautiful design, there is a beautiful LCD screen with a teardrop notch and great autonomy. If you’re used to opening multiple tabs, skip your turn, the Chinese manufacturer’s terminal is far from being the most responsive.

Xiaomi Redmi 10 64 GB at 135€ instead of 179€ on Amazon

Xiaomi Redmi 10

The Xiaomi Redmi 10 has a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with an adaptive refresh of up to 90Hz. Underneath it is a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC clocked at 2GHz and paired with the Mali-G52 GPU. Xiaomi has also added 4 GB of RAM, as well as 64 or 128 GB of space. It comes with a 5000 mAh battery compatible with 18W fast charging, as well as a fingerprint reader and audio output jack.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G G4 Go at €264 instead of €349 at Cdiscount

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is an entry/mid-range flagship with a solid technical sheet: quality 120 Hz AMOLED screen, great performance, great main sensor, decent autonomy and super fast charging.
