The Samsung Galaxy S22 is a truly attractive smartphone. Its ideal design, its lightness, the quality of its finishes and, above all, its compactness make it a particularly pleasant model in the hand. It also benefits from IP68 certification and a gorgeous matte back, not to mention a bright front screen with controlled colors. This natural evolution of the Galaxy S21 benefits from a slight increase in autonomy compared to its elder and we excuse its not very fast charging, compensated by its battery capacity. However, it’s hard to forgive him for his performance in the night picture, on the whole without much brilliance, as well as his half-assed performance in the mobile game department, points where he was expected. But like its entire range, this Galaxy S22 has a good durability score, particularly driven by four years of software updates announced by its manufacturer.

Like its predecessor, the Google Pixel 7 is a great smartphone. It benefits from a good screen, powerful SoC and a very good photo sensor duo. In addition, its price positioning makes it more affordable than most of its high-end competitors, without making any real concessions. We can certainly blame him for his heating in the game, his always slow recharging or his excellent similarity to the Pixel 6, but these defects do not weigh much on the overall experience, even if it is easier to understand in under Android 13.
