The Asus VivoBook 14 R1400EA-EK1682W is a compact High Definition laptop designed for everyday general purpose use.

It delivers great performance in everyday use such as office automation and Internet surfing because it is built around a low-power Intel Tiger Lake Core i3-1115G4 processor integrated with a good amount of 8 GB RAM, which is very good at multitasking.

In addition, thanks to the Intel UHD G4 graphics module integrated with the Core i3, you can watch photos and videos but also indulge in light games without a dedicated graphics card.

Note, however, that the Core i3-1115G4 shows its limits under processor-intensive software, such as AMD Ryzen 3 and of course less powerful processors.

In any case, responsiveness is clearly improved with the use of SSD storage because it is faster than a hard drive but less energy-consuming, more stable and quiet.

In practice, thanks to the SSD, the start/stop and launch of applications are faster than with a hard disk for example, and we reach the cards of online games faster.

The weak point of the SSD offered here however: its capacity is limited to 128 GB against 500 GB as standard for hard drives.
However, if you need more space, you can use an external storage unit. Favoring a USB-C / USB 3.0 device represents an interesting option for getting fast transfers.
